Celestia and Luna +Commission+

Princess Luna and Celestia from the first episode of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic opening. I loved the style it was in and knew I wanted to do something unique with wood working.

Done as a commission for a good buddy of mine, as an addition in his sons room.

Wood burning on a brass accented keepsake box, colored with watercolors and gouache and topped with a semi gloss sealant. I used mineral spirits on the aged brass to clean them up a bit. The lining is a heavy cotton.
